It’s something we are constantly striving for, and it’s something that my quality improvement brain takes personally. Our team takes great pride in efficient work, our subcontractors’ expertise, and the quality of materials we use. We are constantly updating how we do things, order things, and how we communicate. ALWAYS. But y’all… Over the last two years, in this industry, it has been a MOVING target!
Your takeaway? Don’t build, with anyone, if you aren’t ready to be patient. Because I swear, the different suppliers are taking turns picking products to have some crazy lead-time each month.
It’s a process. It takes time. We have a timeline. We know the essential steps. Even though efficiency is a core value, sometimes it’s out of our hands.
