On March 27, 2025, we participated in Notes of Love with Operation Finally Home at the Spraggins family’s future house. Notes of Love was a special way to show support for the family as they begin a new chapter in their lives. Members of the community took a moment to leave words of encouragement and support on the framing of their new home.

The Spraggins family was selected to receive a new home in honor of US Army Specialist Jakob Spraggins and his service to our country. This heartwarming project is made possible by our collaboration with Operation Finally Home, a national non-profit that, with the help of local partners, provides mortgage-free homes, home modifications, and transitional housing to wounded, ill, and injured military veterans, first responders, and their families.

This event serves as a reminder that when we come together, we have the power to change lives. Every word written during Notes of Love carried a message of hope and strength that will continue to resonate with the Spraggins family for years to come. It was a celebration of more than just a home—it was a celebration of the unwavering spirit of the people who are dedicated to helping one another, lifting up those in need, and showing gratitude in the most meaningful ways possible. Each note represented not just a single voice but a chorus of support from people who may never meet them but still stand behind them.

The Spraggins family’s new home will not only provide them with a place to call their own but will also serve as a reminder of the incredible support they have from the community.
