Jonathan Barrow, Founder & CEO of BAM Builders & Remodeling
We want to say congratulations to our founder and CEO, Jonathan Barrow, for being named the 2023 President of the Heart of Texas Builders Association Board of Directors. Jonathan is extensively involved with the Builders Association, also serving on the board of directors at the state level and as a local delegate on the national level.
“I am involved with the builder’s association for many reasons, but most of all, it is to protect my industry from all of the changes that occur in it on a seemingly weekly basis,” Jonathan said. “By being a part of an association like HOTBA, I am able to make sure that we are plugged in locally, statewide, and nationally to at least be aware of what is coming down the legislative pipeline and in our own way, do our best to make changes that not only keep our industry alive, but keep costs down for our customers. Also, being a part of the builder’s association allows me to network with other builders in our market so we can exchange ideas and help each other solve problems that might arise in our businesses or with specific jobs.”
While Jonathan is devoted to shaping and steering his industry, he also is a very hands-on business owner and maintains an intentionally small staff at BAM Builders, the company he founded in 2015. He still sits in on every initial and team meeting and sees to it that each project is closely monitored to ensure it carries out the vision of the client. He is passionate about custom homes being tailored to the customer’s needs and believes they should be places that families can enjoy and grow in for many years.
When he’s not overseeing the business or contributing to the Builders Association, Jonathan, a Waco area native, is a devoted husband to Caitlyn and proud Lorena Leopard father of three. He’s also an outdoorsman who enjoys skeet shooting, hunting, and fishing.
